Day 15 - 31 Days of Halloween!

OMG - We're pretty much half way thru with October - can you believe it!?! It's been a helluva ride so far and we hope you all are enjoying it as much as we are....It may be slightly torturous, but it's so worth it! As far as my cold goes, at the moment I'm not sure if I'm getting better or not. LOL. I have lost my voice today and can't stop coughing, but I don't feel miserable, so hopefully all is well. Thanks again for the well wishes, I'm sure I'll be just fine in a couple of days. I know many of you have experienced some health problems too and hope you're on the mend!

OK - So I have a few things to go over with you today - I am sponsoring the day with my Scentsy business. If you're not familiar with Scentsy, here is a little bit of info:

Pretty easy, right? On my FB page I update with new products and specials - and every once in a while I have giveaways!!

Now - on to my Day 15 offering. I used the new Smeared Ink "Masquerade" digi (which you can get for free by playing in one of our challenges on the forum this month). I colored her with my prismacolor markers. Then - i added some clear microbeads to her hat, bra, skirt and eyes to give her a sparkle! While that was drying, I started on my tag. I used some distress stain for my base color and then some more distress ink from a pad on my edges and to screen an image in the background. Then I used the same distress ink to stamp some pumpkins in the background.  I added some green glittery ribbon and my OCTOBER 31 at the bottom. The last step was to apply my digi image and i had a little bit of a hick-up.... I was applying the glue dots to the back of her and when I was applying them to her head I RIPPED HER HEAD OFF! Oh my hell! LOL. Hopefully you can't notice it too bad. LOL. Other than that, I like the way this one turned out.

Enjoy your hopping!! Just a reminder, the hop list is located on my sidebar for your convenience!

  4. so there are 2 of these lovely warmers being given away? one for the hop, and one by you?

That is very nice and generous of you!!

    Your tag is spectacular!

I am sorry to hear she lost her head, I can not tell you how many times I have done this pulling an image of a xyron sheet, usually a tiny piece like a wing or something, so frustrating! Happy weekend!

  11. What a fabulous tag, love those microbeads. When you were telling us about ripping her head off it reminded me of a story I liked from when i was a kid, there was a girl who always wore a beautiful ribbon around her neck that she never took off well long story short she gets married and tells her new husband to never mess with her ribbon. Well then he decides after she falls asleep to untie the ribbon and her head falls right off. So your story reminded me of this story and I was thinking well you should just tie a ribbon around her neck. I know, I know my mind works in mysterious ways :). Love your tag and I liked and shared your FB page too.
