Bloody Valentine Blog Hop - 2013 - Day 3

Today is the last day of our Bloody Valentine Blog hop. I'm really sad to see it end!! The inspiration has been wonderful and even tho i didn't go as "bloody" as I have in the past, I still really enjoyed myself!

For my last offering I made a choker. I used a heart from Smeared Ink's Heart Wings rubber set and stamped into clay...baked, painted, and assembled...here is the final product...hope you like it!

Bloody Valentine Blog Hop - 2013 - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the BLOODY VALENTINE HOP! My offering for today is an altered cigar box. I started this a loooong time ago and just couldn't get it to where I wanted it to be...but alas, I have run out of time! I wanted to add some more red to this, but I couldn't find any red paint! LOL. Oh well... This altered box was created using gesso, moulding paste, bits of jewelry, keys, a wood burning tool, acrylic paint, spray inks, distress inks.....etc, etc, etc. I have yet to fill it with something wonderfully creepy...I'll be sure to share when I do!

Bloody Valentine Blog Hop - 2013 -DAY 1

Here we go again! What would Smeared and Smudged be without an event to celebrate Valentines Day - OUR WAY! Instead of a February member blog hop we will have a three day long BLOODY VALENTINE HOP! Our hop will be on February 11, 12, and 13.

Our bloggers are creating one project per day - so you will be entertained!
I'm first on the list and I hope you have a chance to visit all of the other hoppers on the blog roll (you will find the blog roll at the end of my post).

For Day 1, I offer you an ATC...."My Heart Beat"....I will also enter this ATC into the new challenge over at Smudgy Antics - Beating Heart ATC.

I heat embossed my inky splatter (from Smeared Ink's Inky Dreams), Atomical Heart (from Smeared Ink's Candy is Dandy), and letters (sent to my from Ike) with red embossing powder (to look like blood)...and then I used my white picket fence distress marker to color inside the lines. I trimmed a piece of clear plastic (from a perfume package) and embossed it with my Vintag Big Kick.... Then, the rest was glue and dots. Hope you like it! I will also be swapping this with one of the other entrants at Smudgy Antics. :)

Now - Off you go! Hop on over to Shell's blog to see her wonderful creation!
