January Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop

It's that time again! Time for the Smeared and Smudged member blog hop. The theme this time around is......RIPPED, TORN AND FOLDED!

 Although this seemed easy enough, combining the ripped and torn pieces with a folded piece proved to be difficult for me. I was in a steamy mood so I went for steam punk this time around. I used an image from Kenny K...Brianna Blaster. She was colored with distress inks. The background paper is a mix of stuff i created digitally and some DCWV papers. I embossed manilla paper and ripped them up to use behind Brianna....and I used a piece of vellum to fold and place across the entire thing. I loosly used the card sketch from Smeared and Smudged for my layout....I hope you like it!

    Tori, when I read your senti, it laughed. I just love this card! That sentiment is so fitting w/ your image! Love the way you made the senti too, w/ the black and white pieces so cool looking! Awesome coloring job on your image! Great job all around!

    Love allt the textures...your colouring is perfect and the sentiment is....well...dare i say...awesome? I found this so difficult too.... glad i wasn't alone.
