Now, on to my offering for today's hop. I have lots of photos to show my process so bare with me. :)
My mom gave me an awesome ring that she found while shopping some junk sales. The only problem is that I'm not a fan of gold…especially when it's costume jewelry. But….the other features of this ring were too awesome to just toss aside...
…as you can see….pretty cool, huh?
So, I decided I wanted to give it a new paint job and make it something that I would love to wear. It started with some Patina paints, some black acrylic paint, some paper towels, some sticky jewels and some glossy accents!
Wooooo….it was fun. I used Edgar from Smeared Ink's Quoth the Raven set. I took the digi into photoshop and made him REALLY small and added "Nevermore" above his head. Once printed I glued him on, framed him up and glossed him down :)
Hope you like it! I'll also be entering it over at QTR - Quest #28 - Anything Poes Challenge.
