We'd like to invite YOU to join in this year and participate in our 12 Days of Christmas Smeared and Smudged style event 2011. We're offering up a cool prize at the end, and know that you'll have a blast! How can you do this, you ask? Well, here are the details!
12 Days of Christmas Merry Hopper
What You Have To Do:Hop through each of the 12 Days Blogs that are participating and leave a comment on each project.
The Rules:You must leave a comment on EACH participating blog every scheduled day to qualify for the prize drawing. Your comment should be about the project or something related (ie-no "Here's my comment for today" or "I'm here!"...these types of comments won't count!) If you miss a day or a blog, you will still qualify to receive a survival button, but will not qualify for the prize drawing.
Prize Drawing At the end of the 12 days, we will be drawing for a fabulous prize pack from Smeared Ink that includes one each of our November Release digi sets!
Each person who successfully completes the 12 Days as either a Jolly Blogger or a Merry Hopper will receive one entry toward the prize drawing. If you successfully complete both, you will receive two entries. (Meaning if you are a Jolly Blogger and you comment on every blog every day, you have successfully completed both)

We really hope you're able to join us every day of the hop and we hope even more that we inspire you with some of our FAB Smeared & Smudged creations!
Here is my offering for Day 1. I've used one of Smeared Ink's new digis "Steampunk Sugarplum Fairy", colored her with my Copics and Prismacolor markers, and then cut her out. Then, I used some paper from Recollections "Old Fashioned Christmas" and stenciled in some different images with my distress inks. My sentiment "Visions of Sugar Plums" was also cut from the paper collection. I pop dot mounted my sentiment to some of the base paper and cut it all out - then added some Glossy Accents to make the letters really shine. I pop dot mounted my sugar plum fairy and added some small plastic star "sugar", applied Glossy accents to her goggles, and then took the entire thing outside and sprayed with gold glitter spray. I took two photos for you so you could see the reflections of the glitter too. Hope you like it!
And please stop by the rest of our Jolly Bloggers and leave them some love
