Better Late than Never, Right?
OK, so here is the card I promised. I hope you like it. I used all Smeared Ink stamps... Ann Marie from the 'Glam Vamp' Digis , the bird wings from 'Quoth the Raven Set', Slave sentiment and Slave Angel from 'The Symbology of Angels' set.
I used plain white cardstock for my stamp images and colored them in with prismacolor markers. I chose some bright colors so that my GLAM VAMP would really stand out...I wanted her to take the show (Danielle, I hope you like the pink ;)!! My white gel pen stopped working so I used a white paint pen for the highlights and was fairly surprised that it worked so good. It was a little harder to control because the tip is thicker, but overall I think it worked out well. It took me FOREVER to cut out these images and paste them together. My neck and back are killing me!!! LOL. I really need to get some good scissors for stuff like this.
Anywho, I found an awesome image of a lady with sparkley water drops all over her. I cut our her face, ripped and distressed the edges, and used it as my background. I pasted it on a simple black card stock. Then, I ripped some green vellum paper to seperate my background image and my stamped images. I also rolled up some scraps and glued them to the top right corner. I wasn't sure how to get them to stay, so I filled them with Elmer's glue. As you can see, I used way too much and it's still not dry. Hopefully it will dry one day and be clear...but I am too impatient to wait for that. LOL.
Thanks to everyone for being patient with me and waiting for me to get this one done. So sorry it's a day late. I will try to do better :)

End of Term BLOG HOP!
This blog hop is to celebrate our lovely Design Team over at Smeared and Smudged. This is the last blog hop of this term so the theme/challenge was to use at least three different stamps from three different Smeared Ink Sets and mix them all together to create one fantastic project! This is no easy task, but something our design team is sure to THRIVE at!!!
I'm sad to say that I was unable to complete my project last night. I've been on vacation for a week away from home and just didn't get the opportunity to prepare or create something great. I'm going to try and finish it up today and will post my project when it's done. I'm sorry for any disapointment, but don't fret, there are some awesome projects being displayed today!! Please visit the rest of the Design Team and see how their creatively creepy minds work!! Leave them lots of love and check back later - I might surprise you :)

Smeared and Smudged September Member BLOG HOP!!
So sorry for the late post this morning, but I've been soooo busy!!! Haha. I literally started this project at 10pm last night!!
For our blog hop we had to work with orange. 'Tis the season, right? So...I struggled with whether I should jump right into the fall and Halloween theme or not. Where I live we are still in the high 90's everyday - still very much summer, so I went with the Chicks Dig Guns set, from Smeared Ink, and kept this card seasonally neutral.
Hope you like her...I colored her with prismacolor markers and used a few different papers. I painted a feather with dark orange and metallic purple (hard to see in photo). And added some punches, tissue paper, and a lot of distress ink.
I'm also pleased to announce (if you haven't heard already) we have added our very first artist (besides ourselves), Irma Diaz, to the Smeared Ink family. She's very talented and we are at this very moment taking preorders until Sept 20 for her amazing first set, Candy Is Dandy, which will be available in mid October. If you want to read all the details, be sure to visit our shop before the 20th!
The group over at Smeared and Smudged are fabulous and work so hard to create awesome stuff! You're welcome to visit our forum and jump right it if it's the place for you!!
Here is our hop list...have a blast and enjoy all the awesome work!!

NOW FOR THE HOP!
This is going to be an amazing hop - I hope you enjoy. Smeared and Smudged's Design team has created some awesome projects with some of our new stamps. It's all about being creepy and halloweeny!
For my project I altered another small cardboard box. I chose to work with some stamps from the "As Death" set. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SET! Anywhoo, here you go... I call this the "Death Box".
I used multiple forms of medium...First I painted the box with Tim Holtz "crackle" then used loads of distressing inks. I stamped some images from the "Holy City" set onto some white tissue paper and then Mod Podged it to the outside of the box in different areas. This created an awesome texture...I'm very proud. I drilled some wholes and added a couple of knobies to the edge. Then, I glazed over the tissue paper with the distress inks and some pearl acrylic paint to give it some shine. I stamped and glue'd my sentiment to the outside with a little bit of tassle-type ribbon underneath it. Kelli had sent out some goodies last month which included some scrabble squares. I used those on the binding side of the box. I distressed them and wrote DEATH on them - because I'm cool like that. That's it for the outside...
For the inside I had my hubby bust up a small mirror and then I hot-glued it to the inside cover of the box. I stamped my main image from the "As Death" set and colored it in with my Prismacolor markers. I glued it in on top of a small foam square to create some lift. And that's all folks!!! I love it. :)
