The Masque of the Red Death

The Masque of the Red Death is one of my favorites by the master himself, Edgar Allen Poe. I had a little bit of time to create a digi project for the Quoth the Raven, Nevermore. Quest 9. I used Ikes Art image of Death and added Smeared Ink's EAP. The masquerade image was take from the internet and the rest was created in photoshop. :)

CONFESSIONS SMEARED IN INK! - May Member Blog Hop

Howdy folks! It's time for our Smeared and Smudged Member Blog hop! If you're not already a member at Smeared and Smudged but you enjoy the Alternative, Vintage, and Gothic Art Stamping, you should definitely stop by! The theme for this month's member hop is CONFESSIONS SMEARED IN INK! With this month's Mother's Day celebration we thought it would be fun to have a few confessions from our members....They were asked to use their art to show us something they've never told their Mom about themselves...or about something they have done. This should be really fun!

So, I am not going to go into too much detail about my confession. All you need to know is that I was 19years old, possibly drunk and a a little lonely. It's not something I'm proud of so I was very reluctant to use it for today, but it's the only thing I could think of that I've kept from my mother. We are very close, so she pretty much knows *almost everything about me. If she reads this today....well, then she will definitely know everything about me! LOL. Because of the nature of my confession, I wanted to make it a little more gentle and pretty than most of my other projects. Those of you that know me know that I usually will go for the shock factor, but since this is so personal, I wanted to make it something beautiful. Anyhoooooooo, I will stop stalling now - here you go!
